Saving Lives, Pledging Money and Jemima Khan With No Shoes!

Tweeting and blogging from the hugely inspiring GAVI vaccines conference. So far Bill Gates has pledged $1billion from his foundation, the UK $1.3bn, Norway $180 million (doubling its previous pledge), Australia $200m up to 2015. Saving children’s lives.

The Liberian President moved me to tears when she said ‘1.7 m children die of vaccine preventable disease. One child every 20 seconds 3 children every minute’

And Jemima Khan wandering past wearing no shoes

Exciting times for this blogger. Crossing everything that the right outcome is achieved.
